Here is the receipe of Jeera Aaloo
Ingredients:
- Two large potatoes
- Cumin seeds – 1 teaspoon
- Red chilli powder – 1/3 teaspoon
- Salt as per taste
- Turmeric powder – 1/3 teaspoon
- Oil – 2 teaspoon
Method:
1. Take oil in a pan.
2. Add cumin seeds. After the cumin seeds splatter
3. Add salt and turmeric powder.
4. Now put the chopped potatoes in the pan. Cover the lid and let it cook for some time.
5. After the potatoes are cooked add red chilli powder and cook it for two minutes.
6. Ready to serve with hot chapati or as a filling for dosa
